Pulling sounds from thin air—Leon Theramin’s 1919 invention has been inspiring musicians for a century now. Dalit Warshaw’s Concerto for Theramin and Orchestra, called “Sirens,” is featured on the next Albany Symphony concert with Theramin virtuoso Carolina Eyck performing. We spoke with composer Dalit Warshaw about the new work.
