Albany Pro Musica (Facebook) will present the Capital Region premiere of Star Song by Bradley Ellingboe, APM’s composer-in-residence. This work bridges historical periods, languages, and faith traditions and examines the idea that we are all, in the words of Carl Sagan, “made of star stuff” — composed of atoms that are unfathomably old and formed at the moment of creation. This concert features the American Modern Ensemble and tenor Dann Coakwell. Additional works by Gjeilo, Hoffman, Tiguls, Ticheli, and Lauridsen.
