Bach and Telemann were close friends and musical rivals. During their day, Telemann was by far the more celebrated of the two. James Bagwell leads the Berkshire Bach Ensemble in the music of Bach and Telemann for the opening performance of Berkshire Bach’s 2019-2020 season.
