INTRODUCTION

The Opioid Crisis is killing people in every part of our community. A local police chief is trying a new approach. School nurses are training to save students who overdose. Art and the outdoors are helping addicts heal.

Working with public media around New York and the state’s Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, WMHT is looking at new approaches to dealing with the Opioid Crisis. We have also assembled resources here for anyone who needs help or knows someone who does.
