WMHT Welcomes George Hauenstein, Vice President and Chief Development Officer

(Thursday, May 4, 2017 TROY, NY)  — WMHT Public Media announces new Vice President and Chief Development Officer, George Hauenstein.

Hauenstein began his career in public media with over 20 years of experience at WGBH Educational Foundation in Boston serving in a variety of marketing and development roles. Hauenstein moved on to become the Director of Development at Illinois Public Media before returning to the Northeast as Chief Development Officer of Vermont PBS. Throughout his career, Hauenstein has focused on donor-centered fundraising and strategic management helping lead teams to raise more than $60 million.
