Girls in STEM

Back by popular demand, a Girls in STEM event will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Hudson Valley Community College's TEC-SMART with registration beginning at 8:30 am. Read the Save the Date and registration details that include the agenda and workshops.  Please share the information with students, parents and teachers.  Based on your feedback last year, students will have the opportunity to select two one-hour workshops.  Please note that there is a seating capacity for each workshop.  When the workshop is full, it will be removed from the menu.

This event is being sponsored by Northeast Advanced Technological Education Center (NEATEC) and Hudson Valley Community College and a joint initiative of highly regarded organizations with the common goal of engaging and motivating girls through STEM opportunities including Ballston Spa Central School District, General Electric (GE), Women of Wind Energy (WOWE), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), African American Forum, Center for Economic Growth (CEG), CNSE Children's Museum of Science and Technology (CNSE CMOST), GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci), New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), and WMHT.
