'River of Mountains - The Hudson-Fulton Celebration of 1909' is a documentary film by Joe Santacroce.

Climb on board our "Wright Flyer Time Machine" as we go back and look at Henry Hudson’s Voyages, especially the Third Voyage where he sailed into New York Bay in 1609 and up the Hudson River to just above Albany, and back. We will then fast forward to Robert Fulton and take a brief look at his life and work. We will go with him on that first ride on The North River Steamboat (aka The Clermont) in 1807 and up the Hudson River to Just above Albany, and back. We then move to New York in the early 1900s and the Hudson-Fulton Celebration of 1909 that promoted celebrating Hudson’s Bravery and Fulton’s Genius. We will follow the Celebration up the Hudson River, to just above Albany, and back. The video contains many images that have not been seen in years and uses a mix of real images, archival footage, interviews, post cards, souvenirs, news articles, and other memorabilia to tell the story during each time period. Music from the time period has been recreated to add that special element for certain moments.

Special thanks to Julie O' Connor for bringing this film to our attention.
