“Governor Mario Cuomo: Poetry and Prose” was named Outstanding Documentary program by the New York State Broadcasters Association.

The 57-minute film was produced by New York NOW's managing editor Matt Ryan and filmed by Brian Flynn, with archive footage of Mario Cuomo’s tenure from the "Inside Albany" library.

Forty interviews were filmed with a wide gamut of individuals, including a rare sit-down interview with Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
