The Merrie Monarch Hula Festival, often referred to as the “Olympics of Hula,” is a four day competition and exhibition that showcases the elegance, power, and rich storytelling that this ancient art form beholds. This program, which highlights the 2012 festival winners, will present an entertaining yet thought-provoking look at hula’s role in the past, present, and future of Hawaii's people.
