A Far Cry

When brilliant musicians get together to play music, something magical, or even divine can happen. This is exactly what audiences can expect Friday, November 18 in Pawling, NY, when the Grammy-nominated, self-conducted chamber orchestra of 18 musicians called A Far Cry is joined by the preeminent clarinetist David Krakauer for a concert called Dreams & Prayers. Four works, three faith traditions, and 1,000 years come together in this stunning and exhilarating evening that celebrates the connection between mysticism and music. One of the Criers, violinist Miki-Sophia Cloud spoke with Rob Brown.
