Have Steam Engine Will Travel

Posted by WMHT Web Editor

Watch Thursdays, July 10 & 17, 2014 at 10pm on WMHT TV.

Father-and-son team Barney and John Gramling have a uniquely odd passion: the duo restore derelict locomotive steam engines, then travel them around the country — an endeavor they refer to as "Have Engine, Will Travel." With the aid of local railroad associations and railway museums, they truck these incredible machines to different railroads, delighting railroad enthusiasts young and old. During the HAVE STEAM ENGINE WILL TRAVEL series, the program captures the entertaining time on the road with Barney and John and their support team.
