Praised for their “supreme melodic control and total authority” (Calgary Herald), the Argus Quartet is quickly gaining a reputation as one of today’s most dynamic and versatile young ensembles. They perform in Cooperstown on May 6 as part of the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival. We spoke with Founder and Artistic Director of the Festival, Linda Chesis, about this concert, the rest of the season, and the posters for the Festival from one of the most important graphic artists of our time, Milton Glazer.
