Just in time for Valentine’s Day, David Alan Miller leads the Albany Symphony in a program called Romantic Chopin. Pianist Orion Weiss is a soloist for Chopin’s Piano Concerto #2, plus Robert Schumann’s Symphony #2 and the World Premiere of Annika Socolofsky’s “Gaze,” a piece all about that moment when 2 people first make eye contact. David Alan Miller stopped by and spoke with us about the concerts this weekend, his latest Grammy nomination and some of the highlights for the 2019-2020 season of Albany Symphony Concerts.
