In addition to transforming materials like wood, glass, or fabric, art has the ability to transform lives. We devote this episode to the power of transformation in art.

The Lady's Got Glass! Let's visit Cheryl Gutmaker, an artist who transforms glass into beautiful works of art. 

It’s the art of capturing a child’s spirit: photographing an unguarded moment in the emotional life of a foster child.  The Heart Gallery of America uses evocative photos to match children with adoptive parents.

Near downtown Cleveland, Ohio, there’s a local woodworker with connections to Skid Row, the Dave Matthews Band, Godsmack and OTHER celebrity musicians! His name is Jon Hill.
