The following collection features classroom resources from the 2016 Healthy Lunchtime Challenge, a nationwide recipe contest for kids ages 8-12 that promotes cooking and healthy eating. It also highlights the winners of the 2015 Healthy Lunchtime Challenge, as they share what they learned with their families and communities and offer insight into what inspired their winning – and nutritious – recipes!
Educational resources focus on topics like food justice, the economics of processed foods, supermarket botany, and the importance of nutrition.
