First - If you live in New York and belong to a political party; go vote. The primaries are being held today.

If you have not yet voted, perhaps it's because you're not registered. You don't know how to register. You think it's hard to register. Or you're just not motivated to take action.

All week #citizenactive has talking about the importance of voting in each and every election. Today, we have some suggestions on how we could make it easier for more people to vote. First, Jennifer Wilson of the League of Women Voters of New York State.

Blair Horner of the New York Public Interest Group, or NYPIRG, thinks you should be able to register to vote on Election Day. This is a bit of a preview, as #citizenactive will be talking to Blair next week about lobbying, good government groups and climate change.

Last, but certainly not least, our friend Ron Seyb of Skidmore College has some thoughts on voting reform.
