Andrea Ellis is originally from Columbus, Ohio and has made education her career for the past ten years. She has taught Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Second grade and is currently the Dean of Students at Albany Community Charter School. She has a wonderful Husband; Christopher Ellis; and an awesome son; Nathan Ellis.

Andrew Glanton is a Junior at Tech Valley High School, who is dedicated to service learning. He is president of Key Club, and is a varsity member of the Cross Country team. He aspires to be an ethical business owner in the future.

 

 

Bhawin SuchakBhawin Suchak
Bhawin Suchak is a filmmaker and educator who uses film and digital media to promote expression, communication, and connection. He has produced, directed and edited several short documentary films and co-directed the feature length documentary, Free To Learn. Suchak has taught at The Albany Free School () for 14 years and is the founder and program director of Youth FX (), a summer filmmaking program for inner-city teens based out of Grand Street Community Arts.

Branda Miller, who is a media artist and Emmy award-winning editor, is Professor of Media Arts at Rensselear and Arts & Education and Coordinator at The Sanctuary for Independent Media.

George Lopez grew up in Troy and is currently a Junior at Siena College. George is a Bonner Service Leader at Green Tech High. He brings his passion for community service to his work both as a college student and a mentor to students at Green Tech.

Monica Wilson-RoachMonica Wilson-Roach
Monica Wilson-Roach has been playing cello and bass for over thirty years. Monica most recently served as String Arranger and string performer on the soundtrack to a documentary about Angela Davis, entitled "Free Angela and All Political Prisoners". Her husband, Michael Roach, was the strings engineer. The film was master scored by Vernon Reid and produced by Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Jay Z.

The jazz trio consists of the following instrumentation: Electric Cello, Electric Bass, Keyboards/Piano, and Drums. The two core members are Monica Wilson-Roach and Michael Roach. The third member of the group is Paul Borrello. The influences of traditional jazz, progressive jazz, R&B, and classical music do not necessarily stand independently in the compositions. Rather, they blend together for an alarmingly fertile and sometimes entrancing sound.

Noelene Smith is the Program Director of The Baby Institute. The objective of Baby Institute is to increase children's literacy and language skills by helping parents understand how to help their children become Pre-K ready to increase the number of students entering school prepared to learn.

Richard Smith is the Director of Liberty Partnerships Program at the Schenectady County Community College. He is currently a doctoral student, working on a Ph.D. in Social Welfare at UAlbany.
