Who doesn't love to be independent - get in our cars and drive wherever we have to go? But as we age driving becomes more difficult and for the first time in our lives we face the problem of not having our own transportation to get places. And if you live in a rural community the problem increases even more. But in Washington County one small community church did something about it.FURTHER INFORMATION: The Washington City Transportation service is a rural program, started by Don Brooks, to meet a need in the neighborhood. Anyone in the Greenwich area in need of the service can contact Shirley Robertson at (518) 692-7901. To request more information about the program call Don Brooks at (518) 692-2198.
