Simon D. Spivack, MD, MPH
Dr. Simon Spivack is a pulmonary specialist and senior researcher in Human Toxicology & Molecular Epidemiology at the Wadsworth Center, the public health laboratory of the New York State Department of Health.  Dr. Spivack is also an Associate Professor in the department of Environmental Health Sciences at the School of Public Health and Associate Professor/Attending Physician for Albany Medical College's division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine.  He is currently involved in developing a DNA breath test that one day could be used to identify people who have undiagnosed lung cancer or are at high risk of developing the disease.  For more information about participating in the study contact:

Louis DeCunzo Jr., MD, FACS

Eileen A. Clinton
Eileen Clinton, MS is project coordinator for the smoking cessation program at the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY).  As a health educator, Ms. Clinton develops educational programs for physicians throughout New York State in the field of Tobacco Dependence and Treatment.  These programs are designed to educate physicians and health care professionals on the latest evidence based information in smoking cessation.  Ms Clinton has an active role in MSSNY's Task Force on Tobacco and MSSNY's Heart, Lung, Cancer Committee.
