TOPIC: Carb Crazy Diets

Carbohydrates. They are one of the three energy (calorie) sources used by the human body, along with fats and proteins. They also are at the center of a weight-loss craze that's sweeping the country. From your grocer's shelves to chain restaurant menus, low carb choices abound. If you're confused, then you're not alone. On the next Health Link we'll help you sort through the 'good carb' versus 'bad carb' confusion so that you can make healthy choices for you and your family.
