Preventing and Treating STDs

Over 19 million new cases of sexually-transmitted diseases (STDs) are reported annually in the United States, but it's estimated that millions more go undiagnosed because there are no symptoms. STDs are more than an embarrassment. They're a serious health problem. Left untreated, some can cause permanent damage, such as infertility or even death. We examine the treatment and prevention of STDs.
