MAKERS: Women Who Make America

MAKERS: Women Who Make America tells the story of how women have helped shape America over the last 50 years through one of the most sweeping social revolutions in our country’s history, in pursuit of their rights to a full and fair share of political power, economic opportunity and personal autonomy.

WMHT is partnering with the Upton Center for Women’s Studies at Sage and the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York in bringing Makers to Russell Sage College. Join local MAKER, Albany Common Councilwoman, Barbara Smith and other members of our ever strengthening community in a viewing of Makers: Women who Make America. The film will be shown at 6 PM, Monday  November 4th Russell Sage’s Bush Memorial Hall, in Troy.  The event is free and open to the public (suggested age is 13+). Please contact Allison Marinucci amarinucci@gseny.org with any questions.
