As a classical music station, it is very difficult for WMHT-FM to provide programming for on-demand listening.  Working with music distribution partners, we've been able to create the Bach's Lunch Podcast and now the all new Conductor's Notes podcast.

NEW! Conductor's Notes
WMHT Live is our weekly program featuring concerts from throughout the region.  In the Conductor's Notes podcast, the conductors of the Albany Symphony and the Glens Falls Symphony provide us commentary for their respective broadcasts.  Their stories about the music and the performances are priceless and fascinating.  Sometimes we have to edit them for time and conciseness, but we know you really want to hear all of what they have to say.  Now, you can!  Subscribe to this new podcast of their commentary to enjoy the extra material.

Podcasts are feeds (for example, RSS feeds) that contain digital audio files, such as MP3 files, which are available on the Internet

Listeners can subscribe to feeds using software that periodically checks the Internet for new content. The new feeds are downloaded automatically to the user's computer.

The user can listen to the podcast, at their convenience, directly on their computer. Or, they can load the podcast to their IPOD or other MP3 player.
