March 26 marks the 50th anniversary of when WMHT was chartered and when the WMHT-TV broadcast signal went on the air. During the 1950s and 1960s, operating from the Riverside School in Schenectady (see photo), WMHT produced instructional programming for broadcast on local commercial stations.
