WMHT, in collaboration with community partners will be hosting two community screening and conversation events in the month of March 2013 for Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide.
March 8, 2013: Salon Screening and Discussion at the University at Albany
March 25, 2013: Salon Screening and Discussion at The Sage Colleges
The Sage Colleges, in partnership with WMHT, present a screening and facilitated community conversation for Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide. The screening will provide an overview of the recently broadcast documentary which tells the stories of inspiring, courageous individuals from around the world and their journeys to confront the oppression of women and create opportunity for change.
