A new PBS program is being produced in the WMHT-TV Studios by Incandescent Entertainment, Inc. on Friday, February 15.
The program features Vijay Vad, MD in a program entitled "Active with Arthritis with Vijay Vad, MD." The program will air around the United States later in 2013.
Join Vijay Vad, MD, renowned physician, researcher, PBS host ("Stop Back Pain") and author, to learn how to manage your arthritis pain and regain an active life.
Arthritis - and specifically, osteoarthritis — affects millions of Americans. Knee, hip and back pain can rob of us of a happy and active lifestyle. Now relief is on the way with ACTIVE WITH ARTHRITIS with VIJAY VAD, M.D. As an expert in arthritis and chronic pain, attending physician at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC, assistant professor at the Cornell Weill Medical College, and former physician for the professional men’s golf and tennis circuit, Dr. Vad demystifies the causes of osteoarthritis pain and shares science-based self-help steps anyone can do for osteoarthritis relief. Author of Stop Pain, Arthritis Rx and Back Rx, Dr. Vad continues to develop more effective treatments for arthritis pain with his clinical research, which focuses on arthritis and back pain relief with non-surgical intervention. Dr. Vad believes in self-empowerment, and throughout this program, you will learn how to adjust your diet, exercise and supplements to bring health back to your joints.

We are asking audience members to arrive no sooner than 5:30pm and no later than 6:00pm. We anticipate that the taping will conclude no later than 9:30pm.
We are asking that individuals be at least 30-years-old and dress in business casual attire with no hats and no prominent logos visible on their clothing.
Each member of the audience will be given a $50 cash stipend.
