'New York NOW' is New York State's Edward R. Murrow Award-winning, in-depth, public affairs program, featuring news, interviews and analysis from the Capitol.

Each week, the program probes politicians, civil servants, journalists and others as they examine the impact of public policy on residents of the Empire State.

'New York NOW' airs Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and repeats on Sundays at 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. on WMHT-TV.

Recently WMHT partnered with The Times Union of Albany to expand its ability to serve the public as the only statewide broadcast television program focusing on New York State government. Each week, 'New York NOW' Managing Editor Matt Ryan and Times Union State Editor Casey Seiler take you beyond the headlines to broaden your understanding of New York's most crucial public policy debates.
