Think you have to be in the Big Apple or sunny Los Angeles to make, watch or enjoy independent cinema? Think again. 'TvFILM' proves, week after week, that filmmaking is alive and well in our region. Guided by host Brandon Bethmann, 'TvFILM' allows you to enjoy the fruits of your neighbors' artistic efforts. You might think of us as your local YouTube, except...uh...not every submission gets on the air (with apologies to the director of 'Man Gets Hit in the Groin 2'). From short films to documentaries to animated shorts, 'TvFILM' leaves no cinematic stone unturned.

The second season of 'TvFILM' is now airing Sunday nights on WMHT-TV at 10:30 p.m. and Friday nights on WMHT-ThinkBright at 10 p.m. Full (and, in some cases, expanded) episodes are available online here right now.
