Rooted in the deep south of Shubuta, Mississippi in the late 1920s, this short documentary shares the the history and legacy of a church community's journey north to find freedom and a better way of life for their children in Albany's Pine Bush on Rapp Road. Presented by the Rapp Road Historical Association, the Albany Pine Bush Commission and the NYS Museum.
