Anyone and Everyone

Watch Monday, June 22, 2015 at 7pm on WORLD.

Connected by a gay son or daughter, parents from Utah to North Carolina and Wyoming to New York speak of the personal and parental experience with coming out in the poignant and heartbreaking Anyone and Everyone. Filmmaker Susan Polis Schutz, the parent of a gay son, captures families from all walks of life - Japanese, Bolivian and Cherokee to Jewish, Roman Catholic and Hindu - sharing stories of how their children revealed their sexual orientation.

In Anyone and Everyone, parents discuss the often times difficult journeys to acceptance. Some showed unconditional support while others struggled with their child's sexual orientation, either fearing alienation from their relatives, their church or community or failing to understand the universal nature of homosexuality.
