Election '14: The Race for Governor

In the race for the New York governor’s office, Democratic incumbent Andrew Cuomo, Republican candidate Rob Astorino, Green Party candidate Howie Hawkins and Libertarian Party candidate Michael McDermott, debated live from the WNED-TV studios in downtown Buffalo. “Election ‘14: The Race for Governor” aired on Wednesday, October 22 at 8 p.m. and was sponsored by The Buffalo News and WNED | WBFO.

The hour-long debate was the only televised debate for the 2014 gubernatorial race. Questions were be posed by three panelists. WBFO-FM News Director Brian Meyer moderated.
