Nature Trackers Club Monthly Challenge | Bird Watching

Posted by WMHT Web Editor on

Attention Nature Trackers!

Birds are a very important part of nature. Birds eat many kinds of insects such as spiders, mosquitos, and other bugs, helping to keep the insect population down. They are also great pollinators. This means that when a bird lands on plants or flowers it gets some of the plant’s pollen stuck to its body. As it flies around it helps spread pollen from plant to plant. Pollination is necessary to make new plants. Birds also eat weeds and help to keep the weeds in our gardens, parks, and backyards under control.

Download this month's challenge and head to your nearest park or garden and go bird watching!

Happy Watching!
