It’s estimated that up to 15 million Americans have food allergies. This potentially deadly ailment affects 1 in every 12 children in the U.S. and it’s on the rise.  On 'Health Link' we examine the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of food allergies. Ric Orlando is Owner/Chef of New World Home Cooking Co. and New World Catering, in Saugerties-Woodstock, NY.  Ric is also the Chef and Management Consultant at the New World Bistro Bar located in Albany, NY.  He knows firsthand the challenges of cooking for those with food allergies as one of his sons is allergic to dairy, his daughter has a nut allergy and his wife is gluten-free.  Here are 3 of his recipes to help you breakthrough the challenges of creating gluten – dairy – nut free dishes that that look and taste like delicious.
