Urban Habitat: Video | Nature Works Everywhere

Posted by WMHT Web Editor on

Learn to think about nature in a new way with this activity from The Nature Conservancy! In the accompanying video clip, you will hear from Julie Ulrich, the Director of Urban Conservation at The Nature Conservancy, who offers insight into the variety of natural ecosystems that exist in urban environments. "We’re so used to thinking about nature having to be grand mountains, that it [has] skewed our perception and made us think that nature doesn’t exist in cities," she says. "But there’s actually a lot of really amazing nature in cities, it may just look different, feel different, the scale may be different.”
