Toolkit: How To Come Up With Your Own Mobile App
Email share

Mobile phones are everywhere – even in the classroom. Sometimes they are a distraction; other times they serve real world problem-solvers.

According to the Pew Research Center, 78 percent of teens now have a cell phone, and almost half (47 percent) of those are smartphones. Teens don’t have to be limited to the role of consumer in today’s digital marketplace. All you need is a little know-how and an idea — which is the focus of this curriculum.

In this activity, students will design an app idea to tackle a problem related to public art in their community. All they’ll need is the activity worksheet, some pens, markers and creativity! LESSON: http://to.pbs.org/1yc6KfZ
