The Design Process: From Idea to Solution

Posted by WMHT Web Editor on

In today’s rapidly evolving world, innovative thinking is the key to problem-solving. So how can educators encourage and help students to generate innovative ideas in the classroom? This collection from NOVA is built around "design thinking" and intended to help educators and learners explore the invention of real world, practical solutions to some of our most urgent problems.

The collection, called “The Design Process: From Idea to Solution,” consists of four videos, each coupled with a lesson plan. Young learners will be inspired by college students from around the country featured in the videos who are engaging actively with the design thinking process. Teachers can use the lesson plans to guide their students through the design process, helping students to develop unique, innovative ideas and strategies of their very own. EXPLORE:
