Sid the Science Kid: Halloween

Posted by WMHT Web Editor on
The Jim Henson Company

BooooOOOooo! In this Halloween-themed series of videos from "Sid the Science Kid", kids learn that bats are helpful creatures that catch mosquitoes, spiders are expert web builders, cats have fantastic leaping abilities, and skeletons help hold up our bodies!

BONUS: Show your class how to make slime (cornstarch, water + green paint), and how it can be a solid or a liquid depending on its composition.

In the final video segment, teacher Susie leads the kids on a Halloween parade and sings a song about holiday costumes. Happy Halloween!
