edtalk: Where Educators Have a Voice

Posted by WMHT Web Editor

Why do you teach? What’s challenging about your job? For many, teaching is a labor of love, but often, their voices are unheard. PBS LearningMedia’s “edtalk” collection, produced by WNET, will (re)inspire you to love teaching all over again.

edtalk is a collection of educator testimonials that offers teachers the opportunity to express themselves in a world that all too often speaks for them. The web-based series provides insight, wisdom, best practices, humor and thought-provoking commentary designed for educator0s, those thinking about the profession and anyone interested in the public education system. In this collection, teachers talk about topics ranging from how fix the dropout crisis to the importance of social-emotional development.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll cheer on these educators who open their hearts and minds about the profession! WATCH:
