For years, the Berkshire Bach Society has been ushering in the New Year with the Brandenburg Concertos of Bach under the direction of Kenneth Cooper. Cooper stepped down last New Year’s Day and stepping up for the first time this year as Ensemble Director and Soloist is Eugene Drucker, one of the founding members of the Emerson String Quartet. We spoke with him about the program this year and the challenges and opportunities of following a legend.
