Making of an Activist
When Aaron Mair took a job with the state, he was happy to move his young family into Albany's Arbor Hill neighborhood. At the time, he did not understand why people referred to the Albany New York Solid Waste Energy Recovery System facility as, "that damned plant." When his daughters got sick, he began to look for answers about A.N.S.W.E.R.S. What he found made him an environmental activist and made the entire country take notice.
