The Secret Life of Elephants

Posted by WMHT Web Editor on

Watch Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2pm – 5pm on WMHT TV.

Set against the backdrop of one of Africa's most stunning locations – the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya – this compelling series follows the remarkable stories of wild elephants. From the first faltering steps of Breeze, a new born, to the experiences of elderly matriarch Babylon, this series explores behaviour and relationships revealing elephants to be caring and compassionate beings. It's a unique opportunity to see these animals through the eyes of those who know them best – like David Daballen who can instantly recognise 500 different elephants by sight alone and father/daughter team Saba and Iain Douglas-Hamilton who can interpret their secret and beguiling world with uncanny precision.
