Art, music, and performance have neither an age limit nor an expiration date. Today’s show highlights art that reaches all people – both young and old.

The Empire State Youth Orchestra is comprised of talented students from around New York's Capital region. Be inspired by these incredible young musicians. Also, Myles Harlan shares with us how he found the oboe and how it helped him through hard times. The Orlando Philharmonic was delighted to team up with Orange County schools to give their third, fourth and fifth graders a taste of classical music. Designer Heidi Kambitsch collaborates with the Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio to create a whimsical space in which both children and adults are invited to play dress-up. A Boston park receives a unique new addition. From peregrines to lobsters, the seats on the park’s merry-go-round take the shape of local wildlife.
